Meet your adoptable dog of the week, Bailey! This dear little boy came to Boston’s MSPCA back in last February because her previous owner sadly did not have the time to take care of him. As you can see from the pictures, Bailey is a very cute 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier.
Bailey would do great in a home with other small dogs, as long as a meeting is scheduled to make sure they get along perfectly. Large dogs are not a favorite of Bailey’s and the MSPCA is currently unsure if he gets along with cats. He can be a little uneasy with some human handling so a home without children would be best for him.
Since Bailey is still a younger pup, he will need an ample amount of exercise daily to keep him a healthy and happy boy. Bailey is still learning to get a handle on house training so his new family will need to help him crate train as well. Bailey would really benefit greatly from a beginner obedience class to help boost his confidence. Plus, it’s a great way to bond with your new bundle of joy!
