Meet Sheba the Shepherd

Sheba is a stunning 8 year-old spayed female German Shepherd who found her way to the Animal Rescue League when her owner had to go into a nursing home & could no longer care for her. She loves to spend time with her human companions and most of all, being petted and rubbed all over!

Don’t be fooled by her age because this little lady plays like a puppy! When she gets excited to see you, she will do cute little bunny hops and wag her tail. She loves playing, especially when it involve tennis balls and she also enjoys running outside on a nice day. Sheba would make a great hiking partner, too. She’s fully housetrained and knows her basic obedience commands. She would be best in a home as an only pet because she is not particularly fond of other dogs or cats. If you’re looking for a great dog to add to your family, come down to the Animal Rescue League of Boston to meet this pretty little girl today!
