August 1st was dubbed as DOGust, a universal birthday for all shelter dogs. But we think all dogs should be celebrated daily. Forget your worries and lose yourself in the unconditional love of an animal.
What’s that you say? You don’t have a pup to share a little love and warmth? The Animal Rescue League of Boston has you covered with adoptable dogs aplenty, looking for a home to call their own. One dog we’re sure you’ll fall in love with at first sight is Tucker.
Tucker here is a very sweet and affectionate male tricolor Treeing Walker Hound mix. He was recently transferred to the ARL from another shelter. This handsome fella is 4 year-old and like all pups at the Animal Rescue League, he is neutered. Tucker would do best in a single family home, as he likes to show his admiration for the people he loves with a loud enthusiastic bark.
We’re told he does well with other dogs but does prefer the company of quiet dogs and even more so of human companionship. Tucker can be fearful of new situations (aren’t we all?) and would do best in a home with older children. He truly is a great dog looking for a nice family to share their home and heart with him.
For more information on Tucker or any of the other animals currently recently spotlighted from Animal Rescue League of Boston, please contact us them at 617-226-5602.
