Meet Brownie

We are a resilient city, Boston! After all of the recent events, we continue to stay strong. With that said, let’s check out your adoptable dog of the week: Brownie!

Hi there, I’m Brownie and I’m just as sweet as my name suggests! I’m a young pup (approximately 9 months old) who can’t wait to find a new owner who will give me the loving attention I deserve. I would benefit greatly from an ample amount of exercise and obedience training that a dog my age so desperately needs.

I am an active, 15 pound boy who loves my toys and I’m super playful with people and other dogs! Cats? I have never lived with one before, but if you have a kitty at home please inquire with the shelter staff as to whether I may be able to. Because I’m still learning to be polite, and can grab my toys from your hand a bit rudely sometimes, a home with adults only would be the best fit for me.

I also need some guidance when it comes to housetraining, but don’t worry – the staff here can give you lots of good information about how to help me be successful! I am required to attend Beginner’s Obedience here at the adoption center, where my new owner and I can learn the ropes and bond with one another. It’s gonna be awesome!

If you are looking for an energetic, playful best buddy, I’m your man! Stop by the MSPCA Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center at 350 South Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 or give them a shout on the phone at 617-522-5055.
